amy and greg rola

Where do I begin with this family? I am sure for those of you that see my posts on Facebook that I am a huge supporter of Amy Rola and her family. It was two years ago that I first began photographing them. We met through KW GLEE…a local youth singing group that I have been involved with for the past four years.

Since then, Amy has grown tremendously with her music releasing original songs on video and iTunes. I know in my heart that I will be watching her with a sea of people some day. Recently, my family went to watch her compete in the Rise to Fame competition at the Western Fair in London where she placed in the top 12 of over 400 contestants. This is just the beginning for you Amy.

In August we met in Grand Bend for a siblings/promo shoot. Amy’s brother Greg is also incredibly talented. He is in second year at the Randolph School of the Arts. What a dancer he is!

Much love to all of you always!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support and incredible loyalty.

august sisters

These girls. Honestly. They have come to mean so much to me. Five years I have been photographing them. I enjoy seeing them each year…seeing the changes. The teeth, the hair and the personalities becoming stronger and stronger. Thank you for always making these sessions so fun. You remind me so much of my own two (except for the fact that you listen!).

Much love to you both and I will see you again in November with your Mom and Dad!

the girls

I have a thing for sisters alright. Maybe it’s that I have a sister or that I have two little girls. Either way I just love this relationship.

Life certainly has it’s share of heartache but atleast we can find comfort in those that remain. Happy to see the smiles and feel the hope.

I loved this evening with you all.

Much love and admiration,

Hilary xo

surprise

2014-09-09_0009

Almost three years ago this Thanksgiving I photographed one of the most unique and heartfelt weddings I had ever witnessed. A chilly, fall day made warm by the people and love that surrounded this couple. I am so lucky to have been a part of it. I had thought of this couple from time to time. I wonder no more what is going on in their life. Baby! I was thrilled to get a message to book for maternity photos. Truly an honour. I don’t say that with cliche intent. I say it because this time in people’s lives is so precious and fleeting. They will be  a part of their history forever.

Thank you for sharing another important and beautiful milestone in your lives together with me.
Much love always.
